Streamline your key carry.
The Wingback Key Loop is designed to elevate your key carry, enabling you to grab what you need and leave the rest at home. It replaces the traditional split keyring with a length of ultra-high molecular weight cord that’s 15x stronger than steel by weight, allowing your keys to sit flatter and more comfortably in your pocket. A diamond cut knurl around the machined parts provides ample grip and the smooth surface can be personalised with up to 25 characters (just don't put your address on there). Each side is compatible with our machined Key Cache, so whether combined or on its own, it will quickly let you switch between your house keys, work pass, car keys and other accessories when you’re in a hurry.

Metal: Aerospace grade brass CZ121 from Europe, CNC machined in Birmingham, UK.
Fibre: 12-strand ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene cord.
Sleeve: Oeko-Tex double thickness cotton sleeve from Poland, Europe.
Finish: Laser engraved, assembled by hand and packaged in London, UK.

Cord: UHMWP is 15x stronger than steel by weight and has excellent mechanical performance for tensile strength, durability, abrasion resistance, cut resistance, and energy absorption.
Engraving: All inscriptions are in capital letters and run around the base of the Key Loop.
Considerations: The Key Loop is delivered with one metre of fibre cord that you can cut down to suit your needs. If connecting to a lanyard we suggest you use a detachable strap rather than the fibre cord provided in case it gets caught on something while you're wearing it. Click here for assembly instructions. The Loop’s brass parts will develop a unique patina as surfaces oxidise and interact with the natural oils in your skin. It will quickly look like a timeless tool, but can easily be polished up to its original lustre.

Brass will age as its surface oxidises and interacts with natural oils in your skin. Like our leather hides, it will develop a rich patina, becoming more unique over time, yet can be polished back to its original lustre. By contrast, stainless steel is harder and more corrosion resistant, meaning it won’t require additional care to keep it looking like new.

Steel key binder
The product seems to be of very high quality, finely machined and it seems a very clever solution to dangling keys. I’ve only used it for a few weeks so i can’t speak to how it functions long term. It will be interesting to see how this high tech string holds up, since it will probably be subject to the most wear from what i can see.

The Key Loop - Steel is handy and minimal.
I like the Key Loop - Steel. Its minimal design makes it look and feel great. The steel gives it just enough weight in your pocket. A minor complaint about the edges of the diamond cut knurl. Since carrying this in my pocket, I have noticed more lint in my pocket. I think that the diamond cut encourages the creation of such. Nothing major (no holes in my pocket this far), but worth mentioning.

Disappointing ![User picture]()
Having been delighted with my Wingback ball-pen and pencil, I ordered the Wingback key-loop expecting it to be made to the same high quality. Sadly, the knurling is not remotely as good as on the pen & pencil nor as good as the web-site images. It is relatively crude and will inevitably act as a 'file' on my car-key etc.
Hi Martin, Thanks for the feedback and sorry you're not happy with the Key Loop. The Loop, Key Cache and Flask have 1mm pitch knurling, whereas the stationery is 0.5mm. This is to provide better purchase on the wider dimeter products. It'll be an interesting think to test out having the smaller knurling used across all products and certainly something we'll try out. Let us know if you'd like to return the Loop and we can organise a refund for you.
