This July, London-based Wingback and New York-based Bullet Journal have joined forces to help you rediscover the joy of putting pen to paper, while providing you with the tools to track the past, order the present, and design your future.

We’re giving away a combined prize featuring Bullet Journal's Collector’s Set and Wingback's Mechanical Pen in Brass. Further down the page we'll explain more about why we're collaborating during these uncertain times, but to enter, simply follow the directions below.

We'll automatically add you to our mailing list so you'll be notified if you won by email in our mid month July newsletter. Good luck!

THE PRIZE

Three winners chosen at random will each receive:

1 x Mechanical Pen in brass, worth £95.00 ($118.00)
1 x The Bullet Journal Collector's Set, worth £36.00 ($45.00)

THE MECHANICAL PEN

Machine turned from aerospace-grade brass, the Mechanical Pen is reassuringly weighty in the hand with a wide diameter to reduce writing fatigue and encourage time to be taken with every pen stroke. Made in the UK, it has been designed to exactly fit the Fisher Space Pen® PR4 cartridge (included), and can be customised with an inscription along the barrel. Every pen is manufactured, laser engraved, assembled by hand and packaged in the UK. Find out more here.

THE COLLECTOR’S SET

The Collector's Set features the first US edition of The Bullet Journal Method, as written and designed by BuJo creator, Ryder Carroll. The set also includes the "Stealth Edition" BuJo notebook. The Stealth features all the details of the original Bullet Journal notebook, with the addition of lux black gilding, lead and end pages, and a gusseted end pocket. It's everything you need to get started. Find out more here.

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION

It was around this time last year that we were finalising the design and getting set to launch the Mechanical Pen on Kickstarter. Fast forward a year and a huge amount has changed in the way we're living our daily lives.

It can feel all-consuming at times, but distilling those thoughts down on paper is one way to process them. Don’t just take our word for it. As American poet Walt Whitman once wrote, “The secret of it all, is to put things down without deliberation… By writing at the instant the very heartbeat of life is caught".

We wanted to spread a positive message to our community at the time of the pandemic by encouraging them to journal and, while tensions have escalated both sides of the Atlantic with the protests, this is still the case.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Ryder Carroll’s Bullet Journal this July. We strongly believe journaling can help you work through emotions of uncertainty and anxiety and help reclaim some order and control in your life.

Our Mechanical Pen was designed for just that, to help you rediscover the joy of putting pen to paper, while Ryder Carroll’s BuJo technique, the analogue method for the digital age, was developed to help you track the past, order the present, and design your future.

To sign up for the giveaway to win our combined prize (pictured below), simply enter your details above and we'll let you know if you've won in our mid July newsletter.

Maybe a set of stickers for dailies and weeklies would be nice. That would make monthly planning much easier and less time consuming. The stickers could be manufactured as a pack. Something like complete set of bullet journal stickers.

A ruler would be nice. Don’t know the practicals of manufacturing, but if it would be too difficult to have the mm engraved / machined in, at least the 0,5 cm and cm markings.

I’ve been bullet journaling for a bit and I’ve noticed I tend to do things in pencil before I do it in a fine liner, if there was a multi pen that had a pacer and two colours of fine liners that you can change between that would be so useful.

Oh, maybe a suggestion would be a multitool! Part bookmark, part ruler, part BuJo stencil for simple things maybe, and also maybe you can clip the pages back with it, or hang a pen with it on the outside of a journal.

I’ve been trying my hand at Bullet Journaling for the past few months. My birthday is in a few days and I just moved and started a new job. So I though I’m starting a new chapter in my life and am going to reapproach Bullet Journaling anew!

I’ve been rediscovering the joy of sending and receiving letters over the past two years. Through this process, I’ve found a lot of joy in the stationary I use and with the envelopes I send my messages in to friends and family. I would certainly be interested in a set of high-quality envelopes and letter stationary from you in the future.
