Winston Wallet

Writing this review after 5 months of use: the design and feel of the wallet — including how compact it is — are about as good as it gets. Impressive.
The only disappointment is the internal staining from the two sides rubbing, as seen in the photo, which should be addressed. It’s also not ideal for Australian dollar notes, though still manageable.

I'm just a regular guy. I'm not a leather snob. So, I will tell you this: I LOVE this wallet. The leather smells really good, and it feels great, not stiff at all. I love that the design is smart and simple at the same time. I LOVE products like that. With the bespoke stitching and engraving, it elevates it to something cool and sophisticated. It exactly what I wanted in a front carry bifold that isn't too thick. Price vs. value is always subjective, but I will tell you I had no problem paying the stupid tariff my country has, because I LOVE this wallet. Got the key carry thing, too. Excellent.

I was looking for the perfect wallet for a long time. I wanted it to be as small as possible, ideally the dimensions of a bank card, it had to be a bifold and of high quality full grain leather and this Winston wallet ticks all those boxes. The quality of the leather is outstanding, it smells so good.

The engraving is perfect in every way. 4 cards, one note and a picture of my son and it’s still so slim.

A lot of care has gone into this wallet. My wife’s reaction speaks for itself, she doesn’t really care for things like this but the first thing she said was “that’s a really good looking wallet”.

But a little small, I'm using it as a second wallet because I usually need to hold more on me, so I use it like when I go to the gym or other simple things :)

Not into trigger, card flipping wallets. It's just a gadget.
Not into hard, slab-style wallets either. You can feel them all the time & they wear out your pockets. Been there.

I want the minimal style but bifold & came across the Winston. The functionality just blows those types of wallets away. No trigger gadgets, no two-handed opening, no fumbling. This is what minimal wallet design is all about.

This is my second wallet from Wingback; the first was a brown one that I got for my brother as a gift. I loved it so much when I got it that I had to acquire one for myself. This product is not cheap, but the quality and craftsmanship are of very good and of high standards.

When I received my black wallet, I saw some damage on the back. I contacted Wingback several times, and after a few times, they requested photos of the damage. I sent pictures and haven't heard back from them in a long time. Now I'm dissatisfied with the service and will think twice before purchasing anything from them in the future.

Leather is fantastic and the stitching is awesome.. thanks for making great products . I already have the brass pen and that is great too.

This is a high quality wallet that strikes a nice balance of size, capability, and usability. While it is a bit thicker than some other minimalist wallets I have tried where this one succeeds and others have failed is the ability to carry more on the days you need to without compromising any of the features. If in the US like myself, you do have to fold US currency in half so using the window to filter through cash as I imagine people in the UK can do is not an option for me but I do not carry cash often and folding it once is not much of an inconvenience as folding in quarters like many other minimalist wallets require. Plus I would not want it to be bigger anyways as it is the perfect size for front pocket carry. Like I said when I do carry cash or additional cards etc it handles it great. Overall I am very please with this wallet and I highly recommend it!

Really appreciate this wallet. I can tell it’s going to last forever, looks very neat and tidy but also real and handmade. If I could change anything it would just be to have space for just a couple more cards as I don’t like to keep them in the cash compartment, but I just leave anything non essential at home. Quality item, and I just line talking it out of my pocket to look at every so often!

If I may provide a bit of customer feedback, - I wish that "Made in England" was a tiny bit more prominent. I am not a fan of flag-waving patriotism, but I am proud that good craftsmanship is still alive in this country :)

I have had my Wingback Winston for about a month and it has been incredible. It has a small profile but plenty of room to carry all the credit cards, cash and rewards cards I have. The Winston feels great in the hand and is crafted with excellence.

I have owned the charcoal Winston wallet for over two weeks now and although in a short period of time I have come to love my new purchase from Wingback. It arrived on time and very beautifully packaged. The bespoke wallet is smalll in size, so please check dimensions before you purchase or see my photos below. However if you are looking to downsize from a large uncomfortable bifold wallet I would highly recommend the well crafted Winston wallet.

I received my Chestnut Winston wallet yesterday and yes it’s taken me 65 years to own a wonderfully well crafted and personalised wallet ( a first for me with no regrets). Wingback quite simply… your work is done, you can do no more, thanks.

The Wingback Winston Wallet Whisky, exudes quality, beautiful design and the craftsmanship is out of this world. I've used it for a while now, as my EDC and I can say, it is now my main and only wallet. I've had a few wallets in my time and my last one was an Ekster Parliament, nothing beats the smell, the suppleness and the finish of the leather used by Wingback. The cuts, the stitchings and the lines are beautiful. The flesh of the leather is soft and flawed, that's what makes it perfect. It's the real thing. And the engraving.....superb(Gift from my wife for our anniversary)
