Lovely - buy once, use lots... and lots... and lots

The mechanical pen feels like it will last forever and it is a joy to use. I have had more expensive brands of pen, and not been convinced of their robustness - travelling with work I hadn’t wanted to take them with me for fear of damaging the resin or lid. Not so with this; it’s coming with me everywhere!
I really hope we see more UK companies like this. Build quality items, showcase our skill and reduce waste.

Worlds greatest pen

My partner is always raving about how great the products from wingback are so I got a personalised mechanical pen for a graduation gift. I can’t fault it. The pen feels weighty and well made. I was concerned that the engraving would only be light however it goes quite deep so I know it will last. Definitely a memorable gift that will last forever

What's not to love?

Superb design, expertly crafted, perfectly balanced. Everything about this is spot on. Great styling with quality materials. It "feels" quality. It "feels" right. Not too heavy, not too light. This pen makes you WANT to write so you can just enjoy teh experience.
Using the SpacePen refil is a smart move, versatilte and reliable with a lovely flow.
I can't think of another pen in my collection that I would rather use!

I think that I’ve finally found it!!

I have struggled for years in finding a pen which was so comfortable, that I would write for hours without thinking. I tried large pens - too ungainly, thin pens - too uncomfortable. Nothing seemed to be right for me. Suffering a little from OCD, I also had trouble coping with pens that suddenly marked dreadfully and looked less than elegant. I found Wingback by accident, and I’m so glad that I did. I took a chance and paid for my first Wingback stainless steel pen. My parcel arrived and inside was the pen of my dreams. It’s small, but perfectly formed. It fits very well in my rather large hands, and at no point do I ever feel that I’m writing with a small pen. The design work on this pen is simply the best, with perfect width and a nice grippy grip (also a nice visual feature). The action of the twist mechanism is positively addictive, being smooth, but yet with a satisfying thunk at the end of it’s travel. The finish of the pen is wonderful, and it’s just great to look at too. The Fisher Space Pen refills are are also a brilliant pairing. I must confess the the only think I’ve changed is the colour of the ink, with green, burgundy red and purple refills installed. I realised that as a teacher I like to write with different colours so I’ve bought another two Wingbacks. I feel as if I have reached the end of a very long journey searching for the Holy Grail of pens. I’m pleased to say that I’ve found it at last!
