Reassuringly weighty in the hand and designed to limit hand fatigue when writing with a (knurled grip and large diameter), this precision-crafted aerospace grade metal pen will be your treasured possession. Its knurled crown is contoured so that with a single twist of one hand you can lock the nib into place. It is machine-turned, and manufactured in England. It fits the Fisher Space Pen® PR4 cartridge which we include, or the Schmidt Megaline 4889. The pen can be personalised with engraving on the barrel, in all caps.

Considerations: Brass will develop a unique patina as its surface oxidises and interacts with the natural oils in your skin. This pen will quickly look like a timeless tool, but can easily be polished back to its original lustre.

Brass pen

I purchased this pen for my sons 40th birthday. He has wanted it for a long time, but with a young family, he couldnt afford it

This is exceptional.

I very rarely take the time to write a review, but felt compelled to do so here. This is a beautifully made pen, and it's a delight to write with. It's increasingly rare to find products made with this mindset of lifetime usage. I bought mine ~ 6 months ago and it is ageing wonderfully and I use it every single day. It's just a bit short.

1. Online purchase, that was okay and easy to navigate.
2. Delivery, I understand it's a " unique product that takes time. Up dates were good, but you need to plan, don't expect overnight.
3. This was intended as a graduation present. I understand it's a personal item. My son did not take to it, his reason? It's to short, I tend to agree, it will get lost in the bottom of a pocket. You will have to hunt for it.
4.Quality wise cannot fault it, we'll made solid should last forever.
