Every Wingback is designed in our London studio, and we make our products locally where possible. Most are made in England, but for some pieces we look further afield for specialist materials and manufacturing, to guarantee the best quality end piece possible.
This pack is made in Vietnam by Shilla Bags International, a factory that specialises in technical packs.

Four years in the making, the Everyday Pack is built for the commute to work and the journey beyond it. The recycled shell keeps the weather out without the harmful coatings used to make most fabrics water resistant, and the lining is reinforced with a fibre stronger than steel for its weight, so it'll stands up to years of hard use.

Inside, a clamshell opening lays the bag flat for easy packing. A floating laptop sleeve, a water bottle sleeve that tucks away, and eleven considered pockets hold everything in its right place, from your passport to your camera.

The Everyday Pack v2 is as good as they claim, like all my other kit from Wingback - pens, pouches and wrap. Fantastic construction and well-thought-out design, particularly the increased size in the laptop sleeve from early test versions, now future proof. Yes it is a considered purchase, compared to many other backpacks. However, the difference in quality, structure and resulting assumed longevity justify the cost. Another great product from Wingback.
I didn't really need another bag, I love the last one I bought from Wingback and use it daily. But when I saw they were releasing a new one I had to buy it. I love the design and the quality, now I just need to decide whether I give this one to my wife or whether I keep it for myself!!
I was so looking forward to receiving this backpack and it did not disappoint. I've spent probably a decade (and far too much money) in search of a bag that could satisfy my brain and back's demands for ergonomic organisation as much as my heart and hands' lust for design and tactile quality. Finally I have that.
As ever another excellent product from Wingback. The pack is just the right size for everyday use or as a personal item bag if flying - I have had no issues with using it on RyanAir flights. It is brilliantly designed and extremely well made and should last many years of hard usage.

This Wingback purchase started as a Kickstarter project and the outcome was a bit unknown. Alasdair the founder had a great track record and to me he and his Wingback team delivered an excellent back back for our daily work, whatever its going to school or going to work. This backpack is built to last, easy to load and easy on the back. Great product !
I want to start by saying that this is the most beautiful backpack I've ever seen. The hardware and materials are simply stunning. That said, I have a couple of major issues with the pack. The smaller of the two is that the interior lining is too dark. A contrasting color would make the bag much easier to use.
The biggest issue is comfort. The straps are shockingly uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I actually questioned if they had shipped the bag with incomplete shoulder straps. There is literally no padding of any kind. I used the bag for a weekend trip and literally (seriously) cam home with bruised shoulders.
That said, I will carry it for EDC but I won't ever pack it full again. I'd give anything to have this bag with better straps. Oh, and dangle stoppers.

The Everyday Pack is incredibly well thought through as an everyday work bag with an array of pockets and storage areas to keep the bag well organised enabling quick access to your possessions. The ability to fully open the bag allows efficient packing (and is also a godsend going through security at airports) and the separate access to the laptop sleeve is brilliant.
It's just so well made. A bit stiff straight away but that's because it's quality you just know it will break in nicely. All the handles are sturdy and are nice and tactile. I can fit what I want in it and you know the seams or zips won't bust. I struggle with the chest strap but that's just learning a new technique to open it due to a new revolutionary design am sure even an old lad like me will adapt soon enough. It's a bag for life yes it's expensive but good quality well made top designed stuff normally are and I absolutely think it's worth the money. You will probably never buy another everyday bag.

The only area of improvement is the shoulder straps, could do with a bit more padding. Otherwise would've given it 5 stars.

To maximise the longevity of the pack we've opted for quite a stiff closed cell foam for padding in them which starts off life relatively hard and will break in and soften over the first few months of use.
I just got my bag yesterday and am really impressed with the quality of construction and detailing. No trouble fitting my 16 inch laptop. There are numerous storage and access points on the bag which will make the incredibly useful and the solid state hardware is beautiful. This will become my everyday bag for commuting to work on my bike.

This bag is tough! And it can fit a 16 inch laptop (with false bottom for protection) without the bag being overly large just to achieve it. It has a clever external weather resistant zipped top access point to allow the laptop to slide in.

Unpersonalised pieces leave us in 1 to 2 working days; personalised pieces are made to order and leave in 1 to 2 weeks. UK delivery is by DPD and usually adds a day or two. International orders travel by FedEx and arrive 2 to 7 days after dispatch, depending on where you are. Anything that includes a pre-order piece ships together, on the date shown against that piece.

Most pieces can be engraved with initials, a name or a short message. Add the inscription on this page before you add to cart. Two things change when you do: your piece is made to order, so allow 1 to 2 weeks before dispatch, and because it is made for you it cannot be returned or exchanged.
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, no reason needed. Email hello@wingback.co.uk and send the piece back; you cover the return shipping and we refund your original payment method. The exception is personalised pieces, which are made to your specification and cannot be returned.

Our materials are chosen to wear in, not wear out. Brass darkens with handling into a patina unique to you, and you can polish it back to bright whenever you like. Steel and titanium keep their finish with almost no attention, and leather deepens in colour as it is used. This ageing is character rather than damage, and each product page carries specific care notes in the Wear and Care row.
