Selected Works: Jet Fuel

As part of our exploration into new materials and finishes we came across JET FUEL.

In the same ultra-hard technical coating family as Black Steel, it has a titanium-based refractive surface that gives an iridescent, petrol-coloured finish, with subtle colour shifts depending on the geometry of the part and the angle the light hits it. It is one of the most distinctive coatings we have worked with and balances looks with performance. The 1 micron coating is 10x harder than stainless steel, so it is very hard to scratch.
