The Key Cache is designed to carry a small yet vital cargo: cash for emergencies, a note for safekeeping, or even emergency medicine. Machined in England from a solid block of brass which will develop a beautiful patina over time.

For added personalisation, you can engrave up to 25 characters on the bottom, with a name or contact info so your keys make it back to you if they ever get mislaid.

Metal: Aerospace grade brass from Europe, CNC machined in Birmingham, UK.

Keyring: As above, (included with your Key Cache).

Sleeve: Oeko-Tex double thickness cotton sleeve from Poland, Europe.

Finish: Laser engraved, assembled by hand and packaged in London, UK.

Dimensions: 40.50mm x 13.6mm diameter (outer), 31mm x 10mm diameter (inner)

Weight: 23g (0.8oz)

Capacity: Fits GBP, EURO, USD and every other note we have tested (the maximum size we have tried is 160mm x 82mm)

Inscriptions: Max 25 characters

Engraving: All inscriptions are in capital letters and run around the base of the Key Cache

Considerations: The brass Key Cache will develop a unique patina as its surface oxidises and interacts with the natural oils in your skin. It will quickly look like a timeless tool, but can easily be polished up to its original lustre.

The Keyring is supposed to be made of stainless steel then why is it chipping off each time a insert or take a key out?

The key to the garage

Alasdair, my garage is detached from the main house with its own access door. Through the years I’ve changed my front door locks but the garage door is secured by one remaining key.
