With the world’s highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, Titanium is typically used in aerospace and motorsport where strength and weight matter most.

Our matte titanium is blasted with 80-micron fused alumina particles at 100 m/s to create a fine, uniform smooth finish. Soft to the touch and noticeably darker than our machined titanium, it feels unexpectedly light in the hand and will develop a subtle patina with everyday use.

The particles are accelerated up to ~100m/second and blasted across the surface to give a uniform, matte textured finish to the material. It’s soft to the touch and has a much darker finish compared to our machined titanium.

The finish will darken a little over time as the surface develops a protective oxidised coating, and the matte texture in particular will pick up scratches and marks with use to give hallmark titanium aesthetic.
