Retaining our signature addictive twist mechanism from our original Mechanical Pen, the Journeyman Pen has been designed to accommodate any G2 ink cartridge. Precision-engineered from a single block of titanium, it features a slightly longer barrel, a pocket clip and our logo milled into the crown. It’s a versatile daily writer, designed to join you on your travels for writing, sketching and journaling.

With the world’s highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, titanium is typically used in aerospace and motorsport where strength and weight matter most. Our matte titanium is blasted with 80-micron fused alumina particles at 100 m/s to create a fine, uniform smooth finish. Soft to the touch and noticeably darker than our machined titanium, it feels unexpectedly light in the hand and will develop a beautiful patina as it picks up marks with everyday use.

CNC machined and bead blasted in England with 80-micron fused alumina particles at 100 m/s

Design: Featuring a reassuring weight and ergonomic design that limits hand fatigue during extended writing sessions, there is also a knurled grip and large diameter for comfortable handling. The contoured knurled crown allows for effortless one-handed operation to lock the nib in place with a single twist.

Cartridge: Fits any G2 ink cartridge and comes with Schmidt EasyFLOW 9000m.

Packaging: Waxed cotton sleeve from Halley Stevensons in Scotland or Oeko-Tex double thickness cotton sleeve from Poland, Europe. Please note packaging may vary depending on availability of materials.

Finish: Laser engraved, assembled by hand and packaged in London, UK.

Weight: 31g (1.09 oz)

Dimensions: 10mm (0.37"") diameter, 127mm (5"") length

Engraving: Up to 35 characters. All inscriptions are 1mm letter height, capital letters and run along the length of the barrel.

Includes cork pen rest as standard.

Wear and Care

While titanium is corrosion-resistant, prolonged exposure to saltwater or acidic substances can dull the finish. Clean promptly with a soft, damp cloth if exposed to these elements.
