Fountain Pen - Matte Titanium

I was gifted the Wingback titanium fountain pen and holder by my wife, and I can honestly say it’s one of the finest writing instruments I’ve ever owned. Delivery to Bahrain was impressively quick, and from the moment I opened the box, I was struck by how stunning this pen looks – sleek, minimalist, and beautifully crafted.

The feel in the hand is just as impressive as the look. It has a solid, balanced weight that makes writing effortless, and the nib glides across the page with incredible smoothness. Writing with it feels both precise and luxurious – the kind of experience that makes you want to put pen to paper more often.

The titanium finish is gorgeous, modern, and timeless, but my only small regret is not choosing the brass version, as I imagine it would develop a wonderful patina with age. That said, the titanium is a piece of engineering art in itself and feels like it will last a lifetime.

This is more than just a pen – it’s a companion for anyone who loves writing. Highly recommended.

I have used fountain pens all my school and working life (55+ years), so I know what works and what does not. Lately, I have been using customized Japanese fountain pens and they are very smooth, writing. I expected the same from Wingback, but unfortunately it is not. The design is great, as usual, but the fountain pen nib (medium) is rough and the flow of ink is uneven. I am not very pleased with it, again unfortunately.

Bought this on sight at Wingback. A thing of beauty - so well made and rests easily in the hand .
