This elegantly weighted fountain pen features a consistently contoured body and is compatible with international standard ink cartridges, ensuring versatility and ease of use. The cap conveniently screws onto the back of the pen, extending its length while showcasing our distinctive knurled grip for enhanced comfort.

This pen is blasted with 80 micron fused alumina particles at 100m/s to give it a fine, uniform matte finish. Fused alumina or aluminium oxide is second only on hardness to diamond. It’s soft to the touch and has a much darker finish compared to our machined titanium.

At its heart lies the Bock 076 Mono iridium nib, crafted by specialist renowned for their precision and durability. This nib guarantees a smooth writing experience, making it perfect for everyday notes and intricate designs.

Additionally, the pen can be personalised with engraving on the barrel in all caps, adding a unique touch to your writing instrument.

Metal: Made from a solid block of aerospace-grade titanium, CNC machined in Birmingham, England under BS EN AS 9100 accreditation.

Cartridge: Includes a 38mm (1.5 inches) international standard ink cartridge, and fits any 38mm (1.5 inches) international standard ink cartridge.

Nib: Bock Ø76 Mono iridium nib

Packaging: Waxed cotton sleeve from Halley Stevensons in Scotland or Oeko-Tex double thickness cotton sleeve from Poland, Europe.

Finish: Laser engraved, assembled by hand and packaged in London, UK.

Inscriptions: Max 35 characters

Engraving: All inscriptions are in capital letters and run along the length of the barrel.

Considerations: This finish will darken a little over time as it develops a protective oxidised coating, and the matte texture in particular will pick up scratches and marks with use to give that hallmark titanium aesthetic.

Instead of using a cartridge, it is possible to fill the barrel of the pen directly with ink using the eyedropper technique. It is advisable to use a neutral ink with a PH value closer to 7.

Nostalgia

This is a wonderful pen that I bought for reasons of nostalgia. It reminded me of my father's sturdy and precisely manufactured drafting tools. He was an electrical/mechanical engineer consultant born in 1911. The pen, unfortunately, had to sacrifice the ability to hold a converter for the sake of compactness. The nib could have been smoother and the flow needs to be improved, but I can have this attended to by a local nibmeister. I am very happy with the pen.
