The Key Cache is designed to carry a small but vital cargo: emergency cash, a note for safekeeping, or essential medicine. Its machined knurled surface ensures a tactile grip, and the hermetically sealed compartment keeps its contents safe and dry.

Machined in England from a solid block of brass, each Key Cache is crafted with precision and built to last. Over time, the surface will develop a rich patina that tells the story of its journey, making every piece unique and full of character.

Metal: Aerospace grade brass from Europe, CNC machined in Birmingham, UK.

Keyring: As above, (included with your Key Cache).

Sleeve: Oeko-Tex double thickness cotton sleeve from Poland, Europe.

Finish: Laser engraved, assembled by hand and packaged in London, UK.

Dimensions: 40.50mm x 13.6mm diameter (outer), 31mm x 10mm diameter (inner)

Capacity: Fits GBP, EURO, USD and every other note we have tested (the maximum size we have tried is 160mm x 82mm)

Engraving: For added personalisation, you can engrave up to 25 characters on the bottom, with a name or contact info so your keys make it back to you if they ever get mislaid. All inscriptions are in capital letters and run around the base of the Key Cache

Considerations: The brass Key Cache will develop a unique patina as its surface oxidises and interacts with the natural oils in your skin. It will quickly look like a timeless tool, but can easily be polished up to its original lustre.

Newly machined brass can carry a faint metallic scent from the metal itself, which fades with handling and as it gains a patina.

Can I personalise it?

Most pieces can be engraved with your initials, a name or a short message. Personalised pieces are made to order, so they take a little longer to reach you, and they can't be returned or exchanged once made.

Is it guaranteed?

Where and how is it made?

Most items are designed and made in England and when they're not, it's to make a better product, not cut costs. Every product page will tell the product provenience.

How do I look after it?

Very little. Our materials are chosen to wear in, not out. Leather and brass deepen into a patina with use; steel and titanium take almost anything in their stride. A clean and the occasional polish is all most pieces ever need.

Can I return or exchange it?

Unpersonalised pieces can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Personalised pieces are made just for you, so they can't be returned unless faulty. Either way, you're covered for life by our guarantee.
