Guarantee and Repairs

We take pride in manufacturing products to the highest quality, and it is important to us that our customers are satisfied with the durability and usability of what we make.

Most items are guaranteed for life and we'll do our best to fix anything we make that goes wrong wether it's covered or not.

Occasionally there is a cost associated with extreme damage, which we'll discuss with you before undertaking any work.

Our Guarantee

We build things to last. Every Wingback product is designed to be used daily, carried everywhere, and with any luck, handed down to another generation. That commitment is backed by our lifetime guarantee.

What's covered

]If any part of your Wingback product becomes defective or stops functioning as intended, we will repair or replace it. This covers manufacturing defects and functional failures that occur during normal use.

What isn't covered

Our guarantee does not extend to cosmetic wear, scratches, patina, or the natural ageing of materials, these are part of your product's story and we think something to wear as a badge of honour. It also does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, neglect, or anything outside of normal use. We reserve the right to make this distinction.

Wear in, Not out

Like any tool, your wingback needs to be maintained from time to time.

The beauty of using natural materials is they produce uniquely distinct results. Every wallet and card holder will display subtle variations and with regular use start to develop a rich patina, just like our brass collection.

Book a repair

We use materials that get better with regular use. However, if any product fails over the years, get in touch and we'll do what we can.

We don’t cover damage caused by anything outside of normal use (e.g. exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, impacts, scratches or overstretched leather) and we reserve the right to decide what counts as normal use.

If something does fail, even if the damage falls outside the guarantee, get in touch and we'll do what we can. We’d much prefer to see a product continue it’s life as long as possible rather than sell you a new one unnecessarily. 

Sometimes a cost is associated with this, if so we'll discuss it with you before carrying out any work.

How to make a claim

Contact us at hello@wingback.co.uk with your order number, name, photos and a description of the issue. We'll come back to you with our recommended course of action.

Please note, we do not cover the shipping costs of repairs.
