Mechanical Pen - British Racing Green

Initially, I raved about this pen and I continue to find its finish and balance in my hand to be excellent. However, the Fisher Space Pen ink cartridge is horrible. I should have looked to find all of the negative reviews of the ink cartridge online ahead of time before purchasing this very expensive pen made exorbitantly more expensive by tariffs. I even ordered a replacement Fisher cartridge which was no better and then ordered a Zebra gel cartridge that supposedly is an equivalent fit for Fisher AG7 pens (with trimming) but it turned out not to be the case for the Wingback. I suppose my Wingback will be relegated to being an expensive paperweight (I also purchased the stand).

I love this pen.

I’ve purchased a good few items from Wingback over the years but I think this might be my favourite! Everything from the feel, weight & writing experience is just fantastic. The Racing Green colourway is just the icing on the cake, Everything about it tells me I’ll be long gone & able to pass this down for a future generation to enjoy (although I of course fully intend to enjoy it for as long as I can!)

I’d also like to call out the superb customer service from Wingback. Helpful throughout the process & quick to supply answers to a couple of the questions I had. Great experience all round.
