Our pen holder celebrates the beauty of solid metal. Machined from a single billet it can store any piece of Wingback stationery on your desk and doubles as a hefty paper weight.
The Black Steel version is finished with an ultra hard, scratch resistant 4µm tungsten carbide layer which is 9x harder than stainless steel, and usually reserved for high performance cutting tools.

Specification
Sleeve: Oeko-Tex double thickness cotton sleeve from Poland, Europe.
All inscriptions are in capital letters and run around the top of the Pen Holder.
The tungsten carbide coating is nine times harder than stainless steel, so it shrugs off keys and coins. No polish needed.

You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused piece for a refund. Personalised or engraved items are made for you, so they are not returnable unless faulty.

I was so enamoured with my brass mechanical pencil I bought the matching pen and pen holder, both with engraving. These look superb on my desk and attract a lot of attention. But the real pleasure is in how they work in the work I do with them. Perfect heft, smooth writing and a real statement about craftsmanship and quality.
I’m not a big pen guy but I wanted, simply put, one pen that would last me a lifetime. Blown away by the quality, love the length, weight and most importantly the twist mechanism. I find myself fiddling with it in meetings.
I had the pen engraved. I will be purchasing another for my father soon, he will appreciate it for the same reasons as me.

This is really good.
Having purchased both the original Mechanical Pen & the latest version with the clip, I feel the stands add that extra satisfying touch of practicality as well as presentation of the pen on a desk. Having one stand felt at odds so both pens now have own stainless steel stands. Are beautifully made & feel the extra 20% discount in the sale made more sense for me as a price point. Many thanks.

Honestly, Im not a pen guy. I happened to see the pens and decided to try these out. The pens show proof of excellent craftmanship and the pen and pencil holders are just as equally impressive. I have a total of 4 maybe 5 of the holders and at least 6 to 8 pens and pencils from Wingback. Its safe to say Im a true fan.
The pen is just gorgeous! Another great product designed by WIngback. And cudos for the excellent service when I encountered problems with my shipment.
I’ve had my brass mechanical pen for about 6 months now and started using it every day at my desk. The brass pen holder, made to the same exacting standards as the brass mechanical pen, is a real asset keeping the pen ready for every time I need a pen, without having to go searching for it.
I love Wingback gear so much I’m considering getting a second pen for daily carry use, I have two sons and can’t have just one heirloom to leave :)
The world is lacking in true craftsmen but I truly found a business who fulfil the meaning of the word. Their work is outstanding and each piece is made with love. Unpersonalised pieces leave us in 1 to 2 working days; personalised pieces are made to order and leave in 1 to 2 weeks. UK delivery is by DPD and usually adds a day or two. International orders travel by FedEx and arrive 2 to 7 days after dispatch, depending on where you are. Anything that includes a pre-order piece ships together, on the date shown against that piece.
No. On international orders, import duty and tax are calculated at checkout and paid by us before the parcel leaves England. Nothing is owed on delivery and there is no paperwork to complete.
Most pieces can be engraved with initials, a name or a short message — add the inscription on this page before you add to cart. Two things change when you do: your piece is made to order, so allow 1 to 2 weeks before dispatch, and because it is made for you it cannot be returned or exchanged.
Yes — you have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, no reason needed. Email hello@wingback.co.uk and send the piece back; you cover the return shipping and we refund your original payment method. The exception is personalised pieces, which are made to your specification and cannot be returned.
Yes. If anything fails through a fault in the materials or the making — whether that is next month or in twenty years — we repair or replace it. Wear, patina and the marks of use are not faults; they are the point. The full terms are on our Guarantee & repairs page.
Our materials are chosen to wear in, not wear out. Brass darkens with handling into a patina unique to you — polish it back to bright whenever you like. Steel and titanium keep their finish with almost no attention, and leather deepens in colour as it is used. This ageing is character rather than damage, and each product page carries specific care notes in the Wear and Care row.

The metal is machined in England, the leather hand-stitched in London, and our waxed cotton bags made in England. A few pieces are made overseas, by specialists who do that particular job better than we could here, and where that's the case we say so on the product page rather than leave you guessing.
Wherever a product is made, it's designed here and carries the same guarantee. If something stops working as it should in normal use, we repair or replace it, however long you've owned it.
